Delete your account

You can delete your PetSignal account and your data at any time, directly inside the app. No need to email us or wait for approval.

Delete from inside the app

Open PetSignal and go to the Account tab.
Tap Delete account.
Confirm when prompted.

What gets deleted

Your account and profile (name, email, and photo from sign-in).
Your saved pets and the lost or found reports you created.
Photos attached to your reports. For Google sign-in, photos live in your own Google Drive and you can remove them there. For Apple sign-in, attached photos are removed from display.

What may remain

Sightings or notes added by other people to a case may remain as part of that community record. Routine backups and operational logs held by our service providers are removed on their normal cycle. We do not retain your account profile after deletion.

Prefer us to do it?

If you cannot access the app, email petsignal.app@gmail.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm and complete the deletion.
